Construction of New Meadowlands Stadium started in 2007 by Skanska, one of the world's leading construction groups and will be opening its doors for the first public event on April 10, 2010

Interesting Facts:

• The stadium is 98% complete.
• All permanent seating has been installed.
• There are approximately 400 workers on site at any given day.
• Over 4.5 million labor hours have been reached
• The exterior of the building is completed.
• There are 6,800 fins around the stadium which contain 10% recycled aluminum.
• All four 30 x 118 ft scoreboards have been put in along with the 2200 x 4 ribbon boards and they are being tested daily.
• The playing field system installation is complete.
• Demolition of existing stadium has started
• The club spaces are 90% complete
• 65% of the plaza is complete
• All Suites are completed
• Signage will light according to team colors on game days.
