Construction of New Meadowlands Stadium started in 2007 by Skanska, one of the world's leading construction groups and is slated to be done ahead of schedule in early 2010.

Interesting Facts:

• The stadium is 95% complete.
• All permanent seating has been installed.
• There are approximately 400 workers on site at any given day.
• Over 4.3 million labor hours have been reached
• The exterior of the building is completed.
• There are 6,800 fins around the stadium which contain 10% recycled aluminum.
• All four 30 x 118 ft scoreboards have been put in along with the 2200 x 4 ribbon boards and they are being tested daily.
• 10 of the 10 video pylons have been put in and are powered up and tested daily.
• The playing field system installation is complete.
• Demolition of existing stadium has started
• The club spaces are 90% complete
• 60% of the plaza is complete
